Genealogy or tracing your family history can be fascinating and reveal lots about your ancestry and even where you get your querky traits from.  You may be double jointed or be able to do the vulcan handshake, or touch your nose with your tongue - these are all things that could be hereditary or passed on to you from your ancestors.
